Glass wall, floor to ceiling book shelve, expose beams ceiling, vintage leather chair, iron tables, part upholstery chaise longue, beautiful royal blue velvet curtains, lot of brave bold colours.... wow! I love all the element in this house in Madrid.
I just love this loft conversion in Paris, just like an art museum. Unusually there's no high ceiling, no large windows and no expose metal work and brick walls ... it's more like a basement conversion than a loft conversion. But the open space helps and there's a clever use of a lot of loft lighting. The bold feature colours against the sharp white walls and ceiling, the lovely sculpture like staircase, and the deco all pitch in to make the space that much more lovely. The mix of old guild framed paintings, contemporary paintings, modern furniture, lighting, and art..... result to a very cleaver well designed tasteful loft apartment. This is defiantly my kind of escape to the city!
