Apartment in Katayama (Mitsumoto Matsunami)

Wall to wall it's only 6m wide, I wouldn't know what to do with this tiny space.
But an architect, Mitsutomo Matsunami based in Osaka Japan, successfully built a sharp bold, black and white beautiful apartment building.

eclectic house in Madrid

Glass wall, floor to ceiling book shelve, expose beams ceiling,
vintage leather chair, iron tables, part upholstery chaise longue, beautiful royal blue velvet curtains, lot of brave bold colours.... wow!
I love all the element in this house in Madrid.

Paris Loft

I just love this loft conversion in Paris, just like an art museum.
Unusually there's no high ceiling, no large windows and no expose metal work and brick walls ...
it's more like a basement conversion than a loft conversion.
But the open space helps and there's a clever use of a lot of loft lighting.
The bold feature colours against the sharp white walls and ceiling, the lovely sculpture like staircase, and the deco all pitch in to make the space that much more lovely. The mix of old guild framed paintings, contemporary paintings, modern furniture, lighting, and art..... result to a very cleaver well designed tasteful loft apartment.  This is defiantly my kind of escape to the city!

Sweet Life...

I would absolutely love to have a home with this sweet, shabby chic feel to it!

recycled fashion show

For the past 3years my daughter Fuji has entered competition.
Her school has been running the recycle fashion show for 20 years now.
I like the concept of using recycle materials to create garments because it's quirky, creative
and helps raise awareness.  Here are a few of the photos I took.

Her classmate in Fuji's design
Fuji used plastic rapping, some scrap wallpaper, flower rapping, scrap fabrics.
